Climate Justice Team

The term “climate justice” encompasses both the related terms of eco-justice and eco-injustice.  Eco-justice is the condition or principle of being just or equitable with respect to ecological sustainability and protection of the environment, as well as social and economic issues affecting humankind.  Eco-injustice adversely and disproportionately impacts those without an effective voice in policy decisions. The purpose of this team is to educate ourselves and others about eco-justice and eco-injustices and to develop action plans for implementation by Saint Paul UMC members and friends that further eco-justice and reduce eco-injustices.
